I was born and raised on the “true Northern” California coast in Arcata, California. I remember drawing constantly from a young age. In high school, I carted around a sketchbook always, and that habit persisted up until the point where my bag just wasn’t big enough or my other books were simply too heavy. Even still, if my husband and I travel, I carry a sketchbook and tools with me because you never know when something must be drawn. I moved to Bend, Oregon in 2010 and reside here with my husband and our two fur-children: Banyan the golden retriever and Maddie the tabby cat.
My work is inspired by people around me, things I see, and my imagination. I am a graphic designer, font nerd, and professional chalk artist. I specialize in chalk art for weddings, events and businesses, and brand design, page layout and ad design. You can see my work in a variety of places, most notably at Wild Roots Coffeehouse off Empire Boulevard in Bend, OR, Va Piano Vineyards in the Old Mill District of Bend, Seventh Mountain Resort on the way up to Mount Bachelor, and Oregrown, Bonta Gelato, Crater Lake Spirits Tasting Room and Dudley’s Bookshop and Cafe in downtown Bend.
